Kentucky Basketball: Who stays and who goes to the NBA?

With Kentucky's season coming to an end last night, you have to wonder how many of the players will return for next season. In the locker room after the loss to Kansas State, none of the players would say whether they stay or go.

But Kevin Knox and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander seem almost certain to leave foe for the NBA. Experts say both are locks to be lottery picks in the NBA draft.

Hamidou Diallo joined the team at midseason last year and redshirted. But that didn't stop him from considering a move to the NBA. He waited until the last minute to opt out of the draft. So, it wouldn't be surprising to see him leave.

Jarred Vanderbilt missed the first half of the season with a foot injury, and he has a history of foot and ankle injuries. It is said that he will probably leave if he gets any positive feedback about the draft.

PJ Washington scored 18 points and grabbed 15 rebounds last night. He had been considered a mid-second round selection, but he has been playing much better of late and his stock could rise. So, it wouldn't be a surprise if he leaves.

It seems unlikely that any of the other players would leave for the NBA. But, in this day and age you never know how many might choose to transfer.
